In our efforts to continually enhance the functionality and value of our WAM!NET® Services, we performed scheduled maintenance on:

• Date: Saturday, April 14, 2012
• Start Time: 08:00 CDT (GMT-05:00)
• Duration: 6 hours

• Infrastructure Maintenance:
  During this scheduled maintenance period we performed maintenance on our infrastructure to further improve service performance and reliability.
  • A visually noticeable change will be the implementation of Extended Validation Certificates; the browser’s URL address bar will turn green when accessing the WAM!NET Portal, ensures you have accessed a highly secure site. (Please note, custom URLs will continue to use existing SSL Certificates.)

• WAM!NET Portal Accessibility on Mobile Devices:
  We have made it easier to access the standard WAM!NET Portal web interface via a browser on Mobile Tablet Devices by improving page display, scrolling capabilities and turning off functionality not conducive to a mobile device.

• New View option in Manage Files
  Introducing a new asset view called “Flow View” which provides a carrousel of thumbnail images for viewing images and video files and playing audio files. Customers can add this new view option to their Portal customization by making a request to WAM!NET Support.

• Additional Enhancements:
• Access to contact information has been expanded to all email fields within the WAM!NET Portal.
• Ability to export records that failed on import; to correct and re-import if desired.
• The Maximum Search Results for a Library increases from 500 to 1000.
• Ability to export User Group information.
• Ability to proxy to WAM!NET Portal through the File Transfer Appliance; beneficial to users who have a need to access WAM!NET Portal Admin but may not have access to the internet. A request to WAM!NET Support will be required for this type of access..
• New version of Transmission Director X (TDX), version 3.8.2, to include bug fixes; corrections to pause and resume functionality, ability to forward a package to yourself, ability to decrypt a package when optimization is enabled and 64-bit compatibility for JWS version. TDX version 3.8.2 will be available on Software Downloads on the WAM!NET Portal.

• Retirement Notices:
• The expiration warning will appear when launching TDX version 3.6 following this release. The retirement date will be July 14, 2012.

• Within the 6 hour maintenance period, all Direct! and Direct!IP file transfer appliances were offline for up to thirty (30) minutes for software maintenance updates. Any packages currently shipping restarted after the upgrade.
• All WAM!NET Central Services were unavailable during this window.
• File transfer appliances were able to send files to other file transfer appliances, however package tracking and notifications were unavailable during this time.
